Recently knitting has experienced a huge surge in popularity as people of all ages are turning to the craft and falling in love with it. The benefits it brings to their health are amazing: knitting reduces stress and anxiety; helps with depression, improves math, cognitive skills, patience and gives one sense of control. 

This master class led by Larisa of Kids Knitwork, who is an eclectic artist, designer, fiber lover, teacher and all-around creative visionary. She will teach children ages 6 and up, the very basics of knitting: how to cast on, knit stitch and cast off. In a fun and relaxing environment, the kids will start working towards first projects such as trinkets purse, hacky sack, pillow, scarf or a headband. Experienced knitters are welcome to bring their current projects. Please come to our creative master class and experience the joy of knitting with us.
